I had the honor of participating this past Saturday in the oldest wine judging in America: the annual Hudson Valley Wine Competition. How do I know this is the oldest event of its kind? Simple: take a look at the logo!

It began as an innocent search. I was looking for an old homie out in Sonoma. Came up with the bio at winejuudging.com, home of the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Then I notice that the site is loaded with bios, and there appears to be a photo of the 2009 judges.
